In this specific case: I looked her up, and realized that I have in fact used at least one of her research papers in a paper of mine. She's one of those research people that has a finger in a lot of pies, and yet also manages to write interesting things.

(And she's done research in ADHD directions which I have not cited, but which looks interesting.)

In general: Hell yeah.
