Would you prefer your published works have illustrations or not? What kind of illustrations or by what artist would you prefer? May be you would like to draw illustrations to your books yourself?

Was the copy of "Three Musketeers" illustrated or not? Mine was and I still have warm feelings towards the illustrations by R. Kaljo. Even posted some of them in my LJ from nostalgia ...
