I'm here!

I just didn't realize it would be so pink.

It's only pink until you try reading other people's posts; then it's very, very black. :)

I don't think I can make my own posts using openID -- have to wait until I can set up a proper DW account.

At least it's black on white background, the other version makes my eyes go all wobbly.

It is remarkably pink, isn't it? I'm not sure what I think of that.

YAY you are here!

....yeah their styles seem borked at the moment, but then I think of the LJ Sponsored designs and feel better.

...You can make it purple, instead, if that's better?

Yay, you're here!

There will be new site schemes (the very pink bit) available - probably sometime around open beta. You can see mock-ups here: http://wiki.dwscoalition.org/notes/Category:Site_scheme_screenshots

I'm actually finding the red and pink a lot more tolerable than I thought they'd be. I think it's because I'm actually finding the things I want to click on quickly.

And so...clunky. Visually clunky, I mean. The interface seems to work fine. But I don't think I'll make much headway on actually using the site until I can figure out how to get the layout more tidy and clean.

Supposedly there will be several site schemes to choose from, so one can presume that one day one's default view of DW won't have to be so pink. Which will be nice, because I don't find the default scheme at all easy on my eyes.

I don't find the very black style very restful on my eyes either, which is why I scrambled so quickly to make a custom layer and put in an lj style. :D

Anyway, yay! You're here! Welcome!

Possibly the best first post ever!

Um, hi. I dropped in via [personal profile] jenett. I'd like to add you, if that's okay?

I tend to ask even when such a note is present. I've always appreciated it when people introduce themselves, at least a little, and commenting asking to add just seems a good way for me to do that. ^_^ Thanks!

Seems very black, to me.

Testing help

Could you post a locked entry and authorize my openID to see it? Their doc seems to say this should be possible, but I'd like to see it work, and have chosen to pick on you to ask for help :-). I'm sitting on an invite code for an account, but since I'd be using it just to read and comment, as on LJ, it's not clear it has any benefits over just using the OpenID, and it's another identity to manage. And I could give the invite to somebody if I don't need it.

Hey, they display the comments in the opposite order from LJ and Making Light and so forth.
