I don't know about you, but this makes my day better.

Other day-brighteners include Godiva's dark-chocolate-covered dried raspberries and the dog's Igor platypus toy. And making slow but definite progress on a couple of things.

70 F weather in January would make my day so much worse; I'm glad you got it instead of me, so that it makes your day better.

I was thinking what a fine thing it is that we both live where we belong. It's not that I was miserable in Michigan, but it never fit me. And I have other friends for whom Tennessee would not suit at all.

Indeed, the number of people Minnesota wouldn't suit is rather larger than the number of people it does.

Which suits me fine; I don't really need many more monkeys.
