More bits and pieces

mrissaMinneapolitans, I must apologize. I changed over to a straw summer purse, so clearly today's weather is my fault. I didn't wash the car or water the lawn, though, so it's not as bad as it could be.
My backbrain is not exceptionally fond of rhyme as a concept, but it seems convinced that once something like a song starts rhyming, it should go on as it began. So I wind up singing alternate lyrics. As with Buddy Holly tonight: "Every day, it's a-gettin' faster, everyone says, 'shoot her with a blaster'...." markgritter and I will be leaving for Omaha around midday tomorrow. I will have e-mail, weather permitting, but can't guarantee how much time I will spend on it. I have to catch up yet from being away from the computer today, so there are plenty of comments and e-mails and so on I will respond to when I can. We'll be back on Sunday. timprov will be in the house to repel boarders.
And finally, I don't usually do lj birthday wishes, but happy birthday,greykev! Thirty looks good on you from here, and I wish you thrice thirty as a nice start, and then we can talk about how much more time you'd like after that.
