Ista is home and trotting around acting like queen of the universe. We're to keep an eye on her today and see if she eats and keeps it down. If so, yay hurrah, off we go to the vet to get her IV catheter removed. If not, off we go to the vet for round two.

Oh, good; I was wondering if *not* having surgery yesterday was a good thing ("maybe it won't be necessary") or a bad thing ("we can't figure out what's wrong or how to remove it"), and this says it was the good reason.
