Miss Lillian Mai Evans is a most superior flavor of baby. Not only does she snuggle and not make much fuss and squinch her little face up in the most pleasing baby manner, and not only did she quack softly at Uncle timprov once, but she waited until I handed her back to her mom to fill her diaper. Gooooood girl!

She was perplexed by the hiccups, though. Those were worrisome.

They do good baby in that family. (For those of you who don't know porphyrin and family, this icon is an old picture of me with her previous baby, Robin, who is now Big.)

I'm afraid this almost certainly means my day has peaked, but it was a darn good peak.

That's the best way to do it. Take them for the snuggling and quacking and fun stuff, and give them back before anything unpleasant.
