Of course.

mrissa: (think so do ya?)

All day, in between revisions and errands and the like, I have been making furitive little notes on The Water Castle, which wasn't even on the list yesterday.

Brains. Writer brains. They're like that.

I am still not figuring out what novel to write next. I'm just noting the dangers of enumeration.

I want you to write all of them next.

See, I think it's more entertaining overall if I try to write good books that are entertaining to read than if I try to write a dozen books at once that make good lj theater when I have the inevitable psychotic break.

Your mileage, of course.

Well, of course I want the good books. I'm just greedy.

You can write them one at a time. I don't even care in what order. Just finish them all by next week, OK?

Water Castle? Water ... castle ... ?

And the little voice says quietly, "That could be interesting."

(Noting, of course, that you don't need to decide what book to write next.)

Oh, well; if you're willing to set deadlines. Deadlines help to focus people, right?

*ICON LOFF* (But -- but -- I need one that matches!)

I have e-mailed you about this book. And whether it's a YA or not. And stuff.

Hey, I don't get to set your deadlines. I just get to tell you what I want.

I expect you to treat my desires with all due consideration.

Rest assured that I will.

It used to be an ice palace, and well, time makes fools of us all.

Will see if I can come up with something. (I need an HD-DVD player so I can do Sunrise:Earth caps.)

I know someone commented on this on another thread, but wow, that picture really shows what you'll look like when you're my age (that is to say, you look just as lovely, but 20 years older in it). Or, actually, given your luck and genes, it'll be what you look like 30 years from now!

If we had the DVD of Smilla's Sense of Snow, we would have no problem here, I bet. Plenty of glaciers. I will try thinking of other snowfull things.

I think that was this one, actually. Same night, different photo. But thanks.

Oh, you *do* need one that matches! There must be an icy death icon! (I was going to say that T should make you one, but it seems he's way ahead of me.)

And the email has confirmed: yep, The Water Castle is definitely a book I'd enjoy.
