Nausea up again. Thanks, vertigo! Sigh. I have put off my evening PT until late on the theory that it'd be better if I could do it non-nauseated, but apparently that option was not in the cards for today.

Anyway, I just wanted to note: five years ago today we moved home, and I am so grateful to all those of you who continue, in small ways and large, to help make it home for us here. Thank you. It wouldn't be the same without you. It wouldn't be half as good.

Quisling Apartments? I presume they were named after some other Quisling?

Yes. Among the many Norwegians who moved to Wisconsin in the 19th century was a branch of the Quisling family. They'd been a fixture in Madison society for long enough that they had buildings named after them long before the traitor made his mark.

I thought he'd be unlikely to be the only person in the world to have that surname. Still, it's a slight shock: I don't come across the name in many other contexts, here.
