That's useful to know about Flashman because I have that volume (which will be my first in that series as well as *the* first in the series) arriving shortly from Amazon.
I will not be getting many of my uncle's books, largely due to geographical factors, though I haven't pushed it because we also have less overlap in taste than I think you and your grandpa have - f'rinstance I've been fascinated with the title of Small is Beautiful since I myself was considerably smaller but I doubt I'll even get more than about two pages in. But hopefully I will get at least some of the architecture books, and so when I open one I can say "this was Uncle Larry's", as you've been doing with your Grandpa's. And I've asked for his coffee mugs that were my grandparents'. I'm looking forward to drinking from those.
