The True Tale of This Entry Getting Meta.

I keep thinking it would be good for me to write about why The True Tale of Carter Hall got so hard for me to write in the middle, and why it took me so much time to get back to a mental space where I could work consistently and well on it.

And then I tell myself, "Okay, for the next half hour you're going to do one of two things: you're going to work on The True Tale, or you're going to actually dig into how and why it got hard."

The up side of this is that I'm getting a lot of work done on the book.

Good on you! I don't have the day-wasting talent much myself, so I feel the need to be supportive of those who find the strength to do it somehow.
