Elsewhere in social media last week, I noted that I had sold two stories in two days. Since I have now finished one pass of edits on each of them, I feel like I can say what and to whom: "Calibrated Allies" is going to Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and "Uncle Flower's Homecoming Waltz" is going to Tor.com. I am so very pleased to be working with these editors on these stories--they're very different editorial experiences, but each feels right for improving the story in question. And I am very fond of both stories.
Although honestly I'm fonder of more of my own stuff than I used to be. So that counts as progress, too.
