Barnstorming on an Invisible Segway

Oddly enough I just went searching for a sort of "Minicon 101" type of handout I made, on my own, a few years back to put on the freebie table, but I'm not finding it. Grrrr.

But I did it because it was a thing I could do and even though we're on Minicon 50 and I've been going since Minicon 24, it's still easy for me to look around and see things that really wouldn't be obvious to newbies which would be Good To Know. (Like where the consuite is and that the drinks & food there is for all con members; also in Minicon's case, there's alcohol in the bar part of the consuite which is also included in one's membership if one is into that sort of thing. The latter I think is notable these days because most cons in the Mpls area don't serve alcohol.)

Anyway. Making that handout was something a severe introvert like yours truly found far easier than approaching people in person that I thought might be new. (I guess I used to wind up on quite a few intro to cons or Minicon panels back in the day too.)
