Today you can read a new story by me in Nature Futures, My Favourite Sentience. I've adjusted the spelling of the title because the characters in it are in fact British, and their teacher would mark them down if they spelled it the American way! So many sentiences to choose from....

This is the best thing! One of the (many) things you do that I love is to show how people adapt to various horrors, and how they sometimes become less horrific, but also sometimes do not, they are just pushed to the margins of the consciousness of people who don't aren't being hurt by them as far as they know.

Also, the squid hegemony, just the best.
