I love this. It makes me think of something half-remembered from Plato that I can't find a reference to, but regardless, it's incisive & beautiful, much like a pack of wolves.
(Having taken the past couple of weekends to feed several recently-underfed members of my own pack at Penguicon and Norwescon, it resonates a little extra for me at the moment.)
