May. 11th, 2005 06:29 amI was awakened this morning by a frantic alarm goose. I mean the bird, not the grope. It seems to be in distress in the woods behind our house or possibly behind the neighbors' house. It's still going: "honk...honk..........honk honk...."
I hate geese.
I hate geese.

Date: 2005-05-11 02:09 pm (UTC)We have two ducks in our yard this morning. As Bri calls them...A Mama duck and a Daddy duck. They may very well be, as they were both standing guard over the big pine tree in front of the house. It would be cool to have baby duckies born in our yard. =P Primarily cause the front of the house has no bedrooms. *giggle*

Date: 2005-05-11 02:15 pm (UTC)Also they leave goose turds wherever they go, which are slippery and nasty. So far I have seen none in the yard.

Date: 2005-05-11 02:17 pm (UTC)We used to get them in California. I wasn't keen on them, either.
