Here's my question: how would he talk? I mean, the "hey lol derry dol" thing is some approximation of how some people I know talk drunk. So would T. Bombadil talk normally sober, or would it go even further into gibberish, or what?

I had a friend in college who got coherent with alcohol. It was a little...disconcerting.
