Week of July 3-9 (belated)

Only one rejection while I was gone, no acceptances.

I've paid bills and answered some e-mails and started the laundry and that sort of coming-home thing. I'm about to have lunch, and I guess I'll have to have a mid-afternoon snack. Waking up at 4:00 a.m. wreaks a bit of havoc on the meal schedule.

And then I'll be heading to the grocery and the pet supply store, because tomorrow late morning/early afternoon I'm driving down to get Ista! As of 1:00 p.m. tomorrow we will have a puppy. I am excited and nervous, but mostly excited.

Before too long indeed: my mother gets to meet her tomorrow night, but my dad and grands not for awhile now, and pictures will be their sole consolation.
