You know you've chosen the right groomer when the pup greets her with prancing and wagging and licklicklicklick, then leads the way into the grooming room herself.

There was no prancing and wagging from markgritter at the airport, but you probably get pulled aside for searching if you try to lick the airport security personnel anyway, so it's just as well.

Ya know, my dogs have *never* been happy to see the groomers. You must have found a great one.

She works out of our vet's office, and when we toured the vet's and then later took Ista in for her first shots etc., we saw the dogs falling over themselves with joy at seeing Lisa. So we thought it was worth a try, and I'm glad to say we were right.

The bonus here is that since Lisa is out of the vet's office, Ista associates that building with going to see Lisa, which she does a lot more often than she gets shots. She also had her "puppy kindergarten" socialization classes there, so when we walk up to the door, she just prances in like she's there to have the best time ever.
