Week of December 11-17

mrissaOne acceptance this week, that's it. Which is fine by me, really.
My parents have been in town (in a hotel room, though) for my dad's company Christmas party, and my mom and I have baked: double chocolate cookies with hazelnuts yesterday morning, apricot shortbread and both kinds of fudgy meringue this morning. I was only planning on doing the meringues (pistachio and raspberry, respectively) this year, so the others are bonus, and we had a good time doing them.

markgritter is home safely, and we are all so glad.
I thought I had something more to say here, but I think as long as we're going with the restriction of something quasi-coherent, I probably don't.
