A warning and a request

The former: Please be careful of eating at Jun Bo in Richfield, where Chichi's used to be. markgritter and timprov did not mention ill effects, but I seem to have some in spades. I hope to manage some toast in the next few hours. Maybe. We'll see.

The latter: Please be careful of the differences among not being interested in an activity, not wanting to support it directly yourself, and making blanket statements about what that activity says about the people who like it and are interested in it. "Oh, I didn't mean you" hardly ever covers this situation.

In a handful of the cases from the last three days, I have reason to hope. In the rest, not so much.

The fact that there is more than one such case on more than one topic with more than one group of people is not what we would call a positive thing.

No, situations where someone needs kneecapping are much easier. Because angry is a lot simpler than hurt, even for me, and I'm no good at angry at all.
