We all know what it means when a black cat crosses your path. What does it mean when a black dog lopes in a casual circle around your car?

Bonus points: does the meaning change if your car is on ice? What if it's black ice? ($#@&% black ice. But don't worry: it did not prevail.)

Hmmm; a black dog loping casually around the car means *do not get out*. At least not unless you're equipped with something like a full-auto shotgun or a flamethrower. Because it's clearly a shot from a horror movie.
