Indeed it isn't. Most dogs have to file form 2049-ARF to report all kibble consumed, furniture damaged, and gardens dug up within the past fiscal year. Fortunately, all of that stuff is deductible.

Cats, naturally, are tax-exempt.

I have found that a well-timed query (e.g. "Where's your ball?" or "Want a cookie?") distracts Tosh sufficiently from worries about the IRS or ambitions re: tax accountancy.
