In a minute it will be my turn in the shower, and then my dad will be here to drive us to the airport. The snow is not of the earth-shattering proportions they had predicted -- at least not yet -- so it looks like we'll actually get to leave.

I will have computer access when markgritter is around with his, and otherwise not, so anything time-sensitive should be dealt with on my cell phone.

I will be posting about times for things like Au Coquelet and Bodeguita once we get out to the Bay Area. If you're going to go to either of those and would like us to choose time judiciously so you can get there, please let me know. (I'll want to get an approximate headcount and make a reservation at Bodeguita -- if you can't make it and tell me you can, no harm done.)

Dependant on the whims of the universe, I'm interested in the Au Coquelet meet-up. Would love to meet you and the tapir, if he's going along with. It's a long drive for me, so many factors must be...er...factored into it, but hey, Berkeley and Berkeley means Moe's and Amoeba and Rasputin and the cool little classical music place across from the university.

The universe is whimsical indeed, but it'd be nice to swap howdies. I look like my pictures and am therefore easy to spot, particularly in California. (Find: palest woman in building.)

My current guess is something like 1:30-5:30ish, but I have to talk to the embodiment of my dinner plans further to find out the endpoint on the late end. I will post more on it tonight or tomorrow and hope to see you soon.
