Date: 2007-03-28 07:00 pm (UTC)Apropos of nothing whatever in this post, I wonder if you know about Denver Fabrics (http://www.denverfabrics.com/)? I know you've been unhappy with fabric choices in the brick-and-mortar stores when your mom was making you clothes, but Denver Fabrics is generally quite good about having a range of plain, basic stuff without a lot of trendy crap. (And anyplace that will sell me oilcloth without the annoying fuzzy backing is my friend.) They offer swatches so you can check the color and hand before committing to buy a lot of yardage, and their prices are generally quite good.
