Worst physical therapy exercise yet.

And now I get to do it thrice daily.

I sent a couple e-mails this evening that mentioned that this is why I told the physical therapists that I almost never get nauseated with my vertigo.

On the up side, I'm reading Gaudy Night, and I have Busman's Honeymoon yet to come.

On the down side, I am desperately tired and yet I am up out of bed in hopes that a touch more vertical time will help, because lying there was...not pleasant.

Eeek, that sucks, but the whole vertigo thing sucks.

I have nothing to offer but good wishes, and you have those in spades. I hope that knowing that so many people care and hold you in their hearts helps at any level.

Are you a fan of hot chocolate? And what do you think of dark chocolate?

(Silly questions whose answers may be obvious to you, but I don't want to leap to conclusions.)

I am a big fan of hot chocolate, and of dark chocolate. In fact, I don't really eat milk chocolate any more unless there's an awfully good reason.

does dark chocolate still have dairy?

hope you're feeling some better this morning. er, afternoon, for you.

Most dark chocolate does not have dairy. But you can look on the package to be sure, and I'd recommend that you do so, because some places are less careful about that.

Better: not yet, but we'll just keep hoping.

But I do appreciate the hugs.

Ooog. I'm so sorry that it's so unpleasant.

I dreamt last night, in a very steampunky dream, of little titanium gyroscopes in gimbal mountings in wire cages that looked rather like headphones. They were, in the dream, something that navigators wore, and they had some sort of neural hookup through the headset. When I woke up I thought "M'ris should have those! They seem like they would be the answer to vertigo!"

Now I just need to get someone to make you some. I'm sure someone must know how.

Probably the titanium is key. I've talked about gyroscope implants with several friends before, but never titanium ones. Now we can proceed.

I am, by the way, pleased that you think of helping me out when you're half-awake. That's very sweet.

Gaudy Night! Bliss. An excellent book to read when one feels in need of comfort.

I have been wallowing consistently in Sayers and Bujold for quite awhile now. I'm running out, but it's been good while it lasted.

Oh, yuck. I am so sorry. Nausea is bad.

I will be thinking of you. I have been, actually, even when I haven't been reading, because...er...because you are the kind of person I think about. I could be more recursive, if you liked. Or possibly I couldn't.

Anyhow. You know what I mean, I think.
