Me: When you get run over by a truck, does that come with nausea?
[livejournal.com profile] timprov: Ummm...I wouldn't think so.
Me: Then I definitely don't feel like I was run over by a truck.

But this was in pursuit of revision, and today was a record day since the vertigo/PT started: over 3K new words on stuff that had to happen but hadn't happened yet, in Chapter 10 and Chapter 32.

Tomorrow: more piano breaks. More not-piano breaks. More breaks. For sure.

Still, I can't really regret today.

Ah, but if I did, it would be, "Urghhh, I regret today...except for lunch with [livejournal.com profile] arkuat, which was nice."

There's something to be said for a day you don't regret. I have few enough of them. Glad to know you had one. :) Wishing you well.

That sounds positive, in a low-level way. We want you to feel much better, certainly, but accomplishments are good.

Surely it would depend on what the truck was carrying?

Glad today (well, yesterday) apparently did not suck.

Wow, good job...sorry the 3k words arrived on the nauseau truck but that's cool that they arrived!

Indeed! Today was not so spectacular but still workable. But we will have to speak to Them about their choice of shipping company. Just as soon as we figure out who They are.

On the whole I do not have many days that I regret, but quite a few I would choose not to repeat.

I know you don't want advice about your condition, so this is not advice. :) I'm just relating what worked for me during the 5 years I had vertigo. I took Dramamine for the nausea, and it worked very well.

The sensation of falling UP is quite an experience that, thank the gods, I haven't had a recurrence of in years.

I'm glad that worked for you.

And yes, I could really be done with lying in bed at night trying to sleep while feeling like I'm about to fall off the bed and land on the ceiling.

Hmm. Well, for the record, when I got run over by a truck I was nauseated as all hell for a while and thoroughly disinclined to eat, but then that could have been the concussion. Still, I think it's enough that "run over by a truck" might still apply -- though we're all hoping for that future time when none of these descriptions are even vaguely applicable to your day-to-day wellbeing.

Also, 3k? Oh, how I wish for such days.
