Montreal is Montreal, and it smells like it, too.

This is a good thing.

There's a cute little crepe shop I love in Old Montreal. Wish I could remember the name. Enjoy your trip.

oh, fun!

It's possible that I'm a bit too literal-minded.

Is it the Creperie Chez Suzette?

I think it is. Just a block up from the little river promenade by the science museum? They let me practise my very bad French when I go through.

Yes! It's a block up from the Science Center along the St Laurent Blvd, so two blocks up from the Promenade. Sounds like the right place.

Mris and T: I too definitely recommend that you check it out if you can. :D

We will keep it in mind! I'm not sure it'll be a priority, though, with other things much closer (I think; I'm not entirely clear on where the Science Center is).

Didn't anybody at your grade school science fair make the mini fake volcano?

The appropriate question is "What does a peasant mountain smell like?"

Oh! Montreal! I have very romantic associations with Montreal, because Mirth and I and another couple went there when we were first dating to attend the wedding of some of his good friends (and we stayed in a wonderful bed-and-breakfast, too).

Have a bagel and cream cheese for me, OK?

=v= Careful. If you let on that you know that the last two consonants have accents, much less what the words mean, they'll call you an "élitist."

Whoops. I mean "eeleetist." (Whew! Hope nobody noticed.)
