I think it is. Just a block up from the little river promenade by the science museum? They let me practise my very bad French when I go through.

Yes! It's a block up from the Science Center along the St Laurent Blvd, so two blocks up from the Promenade. Sounds like the right place.

Oh! Montreal! I have very romantic associations with Montreal, because Mirth and I and another couple went there when we were first dating to attend the wedding of some of his good friends (and we stayed in a wonderful bed-and-breakfast, too).
