I am going to Minicon incognito today, and probably for the rest of the weekend, too: they discontinued my lotion scent, so I had to pick a new one, and now it smells like a stranger is following me around rather closely. This happens every time I am forced into a new lotion (soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.), and it usually wears off within the week. But if you think it's me but it's not quite me-ish, that may be why.

Or it may be that the nightmares have continued, so I'm going into the con underslept and a little ragged around the edges. Y'know. Whichever.

In any case, between Minicon and religious and family stuffs on Sunday, I expect I won't be posting much and will be catching up on other people's posts in big chunks.

i went to my chiropractor on wednesday and came home smelling like someone else's grandmother. not mine, though. i know what my grandmother smelled like, and this was not it.

I think I know what you mean by this. I know the smell of my own grandma, and the smell of my Gran and my Great-Grandma Lingen and the smell of various of my great-aunties. And then there is the generic smell of someone's grandmother, not mine.

All my clothes are really girly--certainly all the clothes I wear to a con.

Well--girly. I don't know. They're not frilly, but they're femmey.

But I could put my hair up. That might confuse people mightily. I'm not sure I want to confuse people that mightily.

I am sneaky like that. It is only one of the many ways I am sneaky.

I would tell you about how nice it is to go around being unsubtle about things because then when one is subtle it actually goes in subtly and people are not suspicious of it. But something tells me you may have observed something similar at some point.
