Two episodes in--

Not only does it have Enrico Colantoni. (Enrico <3 <3 <3 I have already earnestly thanked him for not being Mandy Patinkin, and then I have earnestly thanked his character for not being Jason Gideon. Because it kind of came up. A bit. Within two episodes. Um.)

Not only does it have cops singing Gilbert and Sullivan in the first five minutes. (Yes the obvious.)

But the police psychologist? Is Amanda Luria. Yes. Dr. A. Luria. No word yet as to whether her middle name is Rachel or Rose or something like that. But still. When I caught her name, I went, "Oh, show."

I think I may go around singing "This Can't Be Love" all afternoon. Lip balm. Rookie. Oh, Flashpoint. I may write my name and Flashpoint on my algebra notebook and draw hearts around them. If only I still had my algebra notebook. Maybe I have my Linear Algebra notebook. That's almost the same, right?

And Hugh Dillon! I only saw a couple of second-season eps last year, but now that I've found it on streaming Netflix...oh yes. My new show! Especially now that CM is going to suck mightily.

A. R. Luria was a brilliant neuropsychologist and writer on neuropsychology. If you've ever run into Oliver Sacks, you may be familiar with some of the vein in which Luria worked--Luria was sort of Sacks's intellectual father in some ways.

Flashpoint. It's about a tactical team in Toronto. (They don't say Toronto right away, except if you know anything about North American skylines and streets and things, in which case they say TORONTO TORONTO LOOK HERE WE ARE IN TORONTO LOOK AT OUR STREETS AND SQUARES AND TORONTONIAN STUFFS. It is only with words that they don't quite say Toronto right away.)

oh, Flashpoint. A friend wanted to get me into that, so she found a way to enable me to watch the same episode she was watching. End of second season, beginning of third?

It was a lovely show! And then it BROKE MY HEART.

She has since repented of her episode choice, because I am demanding mourning time before I start watching from the beginning. :P
