Two pieces of news

1. My Tor.com story from last year, "Uncle Flower's Homecoming Waltz," made the Locus Recommended Reading List. So that's pretty cool.

2. Also pretty cool: Podcastle's version of my Lightspeed story from last year, "On the Acquisition of Phoenix Eggs (Variant)." Go, listen, enjoy.

I am very sorry to confess that I have not yet come to terms with podcasts, and this apparently includes failing to read paragraphs that contain the word "podcast." Having done so while squinting sidways, however, I can say that while I like the Phoenix egg story a lot, I still mean "Uncle Flower's Homecoming Waltz."

I have not yet come to terms with podcasts, either, but I understand that they're greatly important to other people, and also they pay American cash dollars. So I am perfectly happy to have other people do them for me.
