I don't usually direct people between journals -- I figure those of you who are interested in my other journal can read it if you like -- but I got sidetracked on WWI and how writers handle series books and all kinds of other stuff that might be of more than the usual interest. If so, it's over there, but the only working comments section is here. Sorry about that.

I'd read your other journal more regularly if there were an RSS feed of it. As it is, if a blog isn't on my friends page or in NetNewsWire, I'm likely to not remember to check it for weeks. (If I had a working brain, I wouldn't need a PDA, a corporate calendaring system, notes on the back of the front door, and watch alarms just to get through the day.)

I think setting up an RSS feed of it would likely be a very large pain for me. It'd be much simpler to just stick the entry up over here behind a cut-tag at the same time as I stick it up there, but I'm not sure if there's interest in that or if I care to take the time. Hmmmm.

It would probably not be all that difficult to write a perl script to automatically generate an rss feed from your index page, since it has such a regular structure.

Hey, if you have time and inclination, go for it, and if you don't, it's certainly not making my to-do list this week. Or next.

Re-reading my comment, it sounds much more demanding in tone than it was meant. Sorry about that. What it should have said is something like this:

"I am interested in your other journal, but I keep forgetting to go over and read it. Is there any chance of an RSS feed in its future?"

Grin. That's better indeed, but I didn't take offense the first time.
