I have two new poems out today with Reckoning magazine's Creativity and Coronavirus series: COVID Summer: After, Now and COVID Summer: Against Dystopia.

It's been a full month of publishing and is going to continue tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Both are excellent. I really love the last line of the second poem: Rejecting the martyr for the maker. That is so much we need to do, keep making the world we want anew in whatever way we can.

Nice. Thank you.

In “After, Now” I particularly like the line
“There will be breaths let out,
Unchecked...”

In “Against Dystopia” I especially responded to
“Dystopia is not drama but grind,
The constant scrape of fear”
and
“To get on with the slow business
Of building, growing from seed,
Rejecting the martyr for the maker.“
