Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] misia:

Tell me three things I ought to do before I die.

Then, if you care to, post this in your LJ and ask your friends to do the same.

Err. A little morbid, isn't it? But tell me anyway.

Whoops, it's supposed to be three things.
2. Deal with both triumph and disaster. (Hopefully, the former will be major and the latter will be at least reparable.)
3. Work at a day job at least briefly, just for the experience.

So...I'm supposed to get more triumph, more disaster, and another day job? Because I've already done all three of those things.

Alas, I have an unfortunate tendency to pass out at the drop of a hat, so I am told by knowledgable friends that "no instructor in their right mind would certify" me for SCUBA.

I've only done half-assed Messiahs. A full one might be fun.

1. Become immortal.
2. Find a cure for all known diseases and infirmities.
3. Get some sleep.

1. see the Grand Canyon
2. solo in an airplane
3. go scuba diving

Hey! I've done all of those. (Uh-oh, does that mean I can die now?)

As I said to [livejournal.com profile] misia above (but I don't know if you rely on e-mailed comment-replies; I do), I have an unfortunate habit of fainting at the slightest notice, and I'm told that this will preclude scuba for me.

I have seen the Grand Canyon, and it was indeed awe-inspiring. Probably will go back again, though, with future spawn.

It should also preclude soloing.

Yes, Mrissas and adventure aren't always well matched that way.

Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden! Quaking Bog!

Or are those kind of like the last book you haven't read by a much-loved writer, so you don't want to use them up?

Not at all. I will go with you as soon as the weather allows, if you like.

Oh my god!

QUAKING BOG!

We went last weekend to the Wildflower Garden, and stopped at the Quaking Bog, and Roo hiked a half mile up the trail despite ice and snow.

Be impressed! I was.

Sadly, it was too cold for the bog to Quake.

Even the novice Minnesotans have been to the Wildflower Garden and Quaking Bog. But not me.

Oh, wailie wailie.

Three things I think M'ris should do, or three things I think one-in-general should do? Because with the former, I'm liable to suggest things that would entertain *me* if you did them (or at least entertain me to suggest them). And with the latter, I'm not sure I could think of things that universally apply. We don't all have the same "job description," you know?

Me-specifically. If they're too entertaining, stick them on an e-mail.

3 things before dying
