Week of May 23-29 (Belated)

mrissaOne lousy rejection. No acceptances. May stunk.
Lots and lots of notes on edits for Thermionic Night and on plans for The Mark of the Sea Serpent and beyond. Not a lot of word count.
Trying very hard to keep a pleasant mood. There were good things this weekend -- meeting the niece- and nephew-kitties, corn-on-the-cob at the Gritter grands', the new salad dressing I learned to make from Dave (Mark's dad), going down by the Milwaukee River with Dave, Lin (Mark's mom), and Matt (Mark's brother). Stuff like that. And I read a fair amount, some of it useful and some of it pleasant and all of it at least one of the two.
I'm trying to focus on that and on things like pannekoekens with Aunt Ellen and Uncle Phil. I'm trying not to feel overwhelmed by the list and by everything that isn't on the list.
