mrissaI just sold another short story, "Even Without Deceit." This time it's to Fictitious Force, which is new. Yay sales! Sales make everybody feel better.
For those of you who have been following along at home, "Even Without Deceit" is in the same series as "MacArthur Station" (which was in Fortean Bureau) and "Glass Wind" (which was in the short-lived Twin Cities Magazine of Science Fiction and Fantasy). They will eventually be an episodic novel, but for now I'm just glad another one sold. Wheee!

Is that usual now that they've gotten more well-known, or should I be worrying that either their sub machine broke, or their reply to me bounced? (I'm past the max waiting time listed thus far on the Black Hole.)
