Mark's brother let us know that the doctors don't think it'll be much longer for Grandma, maybe up to two days at the most. Patients often defy the signals doctors know how to read, but it's still never heartening to hear. It's been a long week, and it's not over yet.

But we're going to go out and have some fun with Stella and Roo and possibly Mike, and we'll try to think happy thoughts.
