No party after all

I just sent out a note to all those who had said they were coming and all those who hadn't RSVP'ed, saying that there will be no party here this Saturday. Mark's grandmother's memorial service will be this Sunday. I'm not sure what prompted the change of plans, nor is anyone in the family I've talked to, but it's a stressful time for Grandpa, and it may be that the wait was going to be too long. Anyway, we're scrambling to try to get something figured out to get Mark and me flown in and out of Grand Rapids on Saturday/Sunday or something like that. We don't know what the deal will be with Kev's visit, but we're trying to figure out something good. And that's what I know.

Do ask about a bereavement fare. I got one when my grandfather died.

We did get one. Cut the price in about a third, and the ticket agent was extremely helpful. Yay for NWA.

(The ticket agent very clearly was a Minnesota girl talking to another Minnesota girl. It was comfortable and comforting.)
