Two rejections, no acceptances.

I watched "Pat and Mike" this morning, and Tracy did not have all the wisdom to hand to Hepburn, oh yay. (I actually liked it less than "Adam's Rib," in which he does precisely that, but just the break in pattern was nice compared to the Hepburn movies I've seen most recently.)

I'm going to curl up with God Stalk, and [livejournal.com profile] markgritter is going to put in a Bab5 DVD, and [livejournal.com profile] missista is going to chew on her gigantimondous rawhide, and I don't know what [livejournal.com profile] timprov is going to do. Quiet good night here. Hope yours is as rowdy as you'd like.

I really liked that book. The sequel I was less impressed with.

I have the two in an omnibus with a short story between. I was all right with God Stalk but did not fall in love the way some people did. Haven't gotten to Dark of the Moon yet.

I have the third book, Seeker's Mask, if you'd like to borrow it.

Right now I'm not desperately keen; we'll see how I am after Dark of the Moon. Mostly they made me want to go back and reread Liavek anthos.

Which would be both not, and very liked! Thank whatever goddess. Pups are all in various ways curled and snoozing.

Misc dribbles. Hepburn is a real fave. Rawhides are touchy here.. we do better w/ marrow bones. (Cole tends to inhal his and then annoy the other pups.) I haven't read Godstalk in ages. What prompted that? Still enjoying the Byock btw. The section I am in now is better. It's the kind of book that also gets you thinking about meanings applied against other cultures, and times. Very good rec.

Glad you're enjoying the Byock! His books are some of my favorite stuff.

I read God Stalk because [livejournal.com profile] greykev gave me the omnibus lo these many moons ago, and there it was on my reading pile, and I got to thinking how many moons it had been, so it was time.

I'm into a very weird region of the "to read" piles. Some of the choices will not be obvious.
