I feel like I shouldn't admit this, but oh, I really think this book I wrote is good stuff. I'm looking over Dwarf's Blood Mead to mangle it into oblivion synopsize it, and I'm faintly embarrassed by how much I'm into my own book.

I don't think this means I will be unable to take criticism or edits for it. I just...I really like it. I think I did good work with this one, and while I think I'm doing good work on the Finnish books, they're not even remotely ready like this one is. And...well...I like it.

Is that okay? Or am I supposed to keep my mouth shut on it?

Yeah, I'd noticed! :)

Here's my question for you, though: why on earth are you worrying about this? Shouldn't liking and being proud of what you created be a good thing? Natural, even?

Sure, but talking about it, that's different.
