The problem

The problem is not that I'm acting irrationally. The problem is that my reactions are reasonable but disproportionate. That is, they're in reasonable directions, just not reasonable magnitudes. (Yes, my moods are vectors, not scalars.) So a political situation that would usually upset me, upsets me more; a bit of inconsideration from a loved one that would usually sting, hurts; etc.
The up side of this is that spending a few hours in comfort with friends is disproportionately cheering.
Stupid hormones anyway. Want to talk about magnitude problems, that's a magnitude problem, right there.
