Also, on the subject of writer's block: sometimes I don't have the right project, and then I flail a lot and nothing seems to work. Then I get focused and things work. It's good, if I can manage to get centered. (I'm pretty flexible about what's the right project if I have a reason to be, but so far I've only had reasons to write short stories, not novels, in specific.)

Aaaaand the shoulder has almost entirely frozen up again. Away from the computer with me for a good long break, possibly the rest of the evening. If I don't get back to your comments until morning, that'll be why.

Wow, you're lucky. I spend a lot of my time flailing and absolutely nothing seems to happen, ever. Although I have to admit that writer's block rarely hits me anymore, mainly because (for me, at least) it occurs while I'm writing creatively, and I haven't written creatively since... well, it's been a while.

And I guess this is a question for you (from the previous post):
Got any suggestions for getting back my creative writing groove, after several months of letting ideas and plots fester in my mind because I haven't the time to write and it now seems so much like a chore rather than a hobby? Other than quitting college? ;]

I am not ignoring this question, I promise, but it's going to take me awhile to write an answer.
