No rejections, no acceptances, no nothing. Apparently still more short stories are required.

Happy new year to those of you whose religious year starts today! All good things to you in the year to come. (I sometimes find it curious that the new years observed by most Christian sects I've encountered are almost entirely secular new years, with church services occasionally tacked on like the ones for American Thanksgiving or Mother's Day. Anyone with contrary religious experience of Jan. 1?)

Some time ago I promised that I would post my rosemary bun recipe. I didn't forget -- I just didn't do it. (Isn't that comforting?) But now I have. I still haven't made rosemary buns -- alas for our palates, but the book has been going well this week. Maybe it'll go poorly next week and we can have more good food. Or maybe I'll get some cooking-ahead for the week done tomorrow, which is supposed to be my day off from writing. We'll see. In the meantime, there are errands to run and books to write. Hope you're all having a wonderful Saturday, whether you're thinking of fresh starts or not.

Thanks! Saved the recipe, will make them within the week as our rosemary seems to be at its best now.

One question: bread flour or a/p?

I've made it with all-purpose, not with bread, so I can say that one works but not that the other doesn't.
