first Christmas cookies this year

I have just pulled the last sheet of double-chocolate hazelnut sour cherry cookies out of the oven.

Perhaps they will appease the snow gods and I will get snow tomorrow.

Or perhaps they will just be tasty.

My honey lebkuchen came out of the oven yesterday - with Christmas pudding being on to steam today (fruit is macerating in loads of brandy at the moment) 'Tis the season!
