Well, my last book was the first book I'd written and finished in several years--so I essentially had to learn to write all over again.

I thought I might be intimidated at the thought of starting the next one, but lately I've had too many short story ideas piling into my head...and I want to start establishing a name for myself before I get to heavy into the novel-writing again. But one of these days...(Which I'm allowed to say having already done it before. :) )

timprov, when I did the out-loud version of this with him, was willing to agree to "sneakier" and "stronger," but was not so sure about "bigger." But as you point out, this may be an asset rather than a liability.

I think it's the fact that she's taken three falls to Quicksilver. And this book -- at least the original book-which-has-been-split -- is significantly larger.
