That sure sounds like the opposite of fun. I've suffered through some fairly extensive bouts of vertigo (though not to the extent you have!), and you have my sympathies.

I have moved home. This isn't an absolute guarantee of safety from earthquakes, but it certainly improves my odds.

Just try to stay attached to the foundation, and hang onto the roof. Any little cracks in the walls can be patched up later.
