Straw. Gold.
Apr. 23rd, 2008 10:09 pmI should be away from the computer and getting ready for bed, but like Arlo says, you can't always do what you're supposed to be doing. So what I did instead is celebrate International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day by putting a reprint up. Goats' Gold is not a very serious story, but it's free to all who want to read it. Originally appeared in Spellbound, which was a children's magazine. Suitable for the kiddies, and not just by my "cut my teeth on Norse myth" standards. It's not very long, but it's goofy, and it's mine own.
Now don't say I never gave you nothin'.

Date: 2008-05-10 07:03 pm (UTC)I've read a few books of Norwegian folk tales and troll tales recently, and "Goat's Gold" has just the right feel. (Norwegian, Swedish, it's all one big peninsula, right?)
