[livejournal.com profile] markgritter is going to do the bit with the oven, but I just kneaded up a batch of fresh bread for the first time this year.

My hands feel soooooo goooooood.

Yaaaaaay!

(I am betting bread is not something the PT have on a checklist for measurement. But it should be.)

Oh, yay. That is awesome. You should have as much of your life as possible, definitely including kneading bread.

(Edited for wrong icon. These things are important.)

Yay bread! Fresh bread is so wonderful. And kneading it is clearly a big deal to a lot of bread-makers.

Oh, hooray! (David informed me the other day that the ginger scones were not vegan, and I thought, "oh, oh, Marissa made scones!" But then I thought maybe somebody had just made too many for you. But bread! Yay!

My mom did the finishing on the scones: the egg wash and the oven part. But yes, going at the dough with the pastry blender was me.

PS I got stuff for chocolate cherry scones yesterday at the store; I'm going to make them in a bit. I will toast you with the first one that I eat. And the second. And so on, until the last.

I think if I invite my mom over to slice cherries and deal with the oven for me on the premise that she can have half the resultant scones, I can have those for my birthday. This is sounding like a plan.

Glad you liked it! I think it was a hit with the people who live here as well, so I'll probably be doing that again.
