Okay, brain, REAL SUBTLE. I mostly don't like zombies in my fiction. (buymeaclue and cmpriest, this does not mean you.) Turns out I'm not all that keen on them in my dreams, either. But giving me for my only weapon...the lap desk I sometimes write on? Come on. Either get more subtle and complicated (and thereby INTERESTING), or hand me a dream note with the intended message on it and move along to something with a rhinoceros and a gazebo.

When you cross a rhinoceros and a gazebo, you get a trampled gazebo. Never, never, never cross a rhinoceros. Especially if you're in a newly built gazebo.

Well... if all you HAVE are zombie dreams (that'd be me) and your subconcious still intends to relay meaningful and timely messages to your forebrain, sometimes thing CAN get... "interesting" or at least very "roundabout".

The only good thing I can say of my zombie dream is that it did not, in fact, take place on a malfunctioning space station. Unlike the vast majority of other dreams I've had in the last 8+ months, that being how my brain processes vertigo. Sigh.

I've had a fair number of zombie/alien/bogeyman style dreams. Did I ever tell you about the one set in a fringe festival genre? Instead of fighting/hiding from zombies I just berate them for their unconvincing portrayals.
